Alright lads, i'll be head off to the states in about a month and i'm trying decide what gear to buy. As the title might suggest, a fuzz pedal is on the cards, i have been using my beloved tube screamer for 4 years now and feel i need a change. Now i dont want my tone to turn into a muddy mess, i still want some bite and clarity in my tone, but with that Fuzz aswell. So do you have any recommendations? I've been thinking about a Dunlop Jimi hendrix fuzz face, anyone have any experience with it?
    Cheers lads.

The coolest fuzz pedal I've ever played is the ZVex Vexter Fuzz Factory. Amazing!

I've got a cool fuzz pedal that was a custom job. Very nice! Made by Guttermouth Electronics.

I can bring it along to one of these meet-ups if they happen. :)

Thanks for that. Looks Awesome! Definitely one to consider, i like the added control you get.
How much di you pay for that then?

Oh I didn't pay for it, I just played it in a shop in London.. I very nearly bought it but I didn't have enough cash and they wouldn't haggle.

fuzz factory can be horrifically trebley if dialed in wrong though!
there's better option for a vintage fuzz face or something simular
al your free to borrow my ZIM for the weekend if you can pick it up form town,i'm going away for the week end so i won't need it
another option is a monsterpiece mkII fuzz, based on the ledgendary tonebender (think edwin colins "girl like you solo" or page "since i been loving you")
he only sells through harmony central and doesn't have his own site but check the "monsterpiece appreciation thread" for hundreds of photo's of one off pedals he's made! only cost about 115 dollars too :pac:

Bought a Keeley Fuzz recently and have to say, looks nice, but a bit disapointed with her. Big brand name etc.

I doesn't colour you tone at all, but from a fuzz, i would like a bit more colour.
Just like the intro for the Stones 'Satisfaction'

Try it out over there if you can. The lack of colour tone might suit you.
