Mean shift algorithm

    Hi All,

    First time posting in the mathematics forum....

    I'm looking to calculate the "mean-shift" of a group of points, the basic idea is to eliminate "outliers" which are far from the mean, it should also be attracted to the location of highest density of points.

    I've tried googling etc, but most of the stuff i've come up with it is for calculating the mean shift on an entire image. I need to do it on an array of discrete points (x,y).
