just in case anybody's tempted to go along with any of the emails everybody gets that tells them they have won the lotto, i replied to one of them this morning just to see what they would say, and i got a few back pretty fast, saying they would send me a cheque for £250,000, but i had to email or ring the courier and give him my details, and photocopy my passport!??

i emailed him and asked how much the delivery would be, and he sent back a list of what it would cost, the minimum it would cost to post a cheque from england £400 incl insurance, £120 for the postage costs.

this is proof that it is a load of ccok, i knew it was anyway but a little bit of me was curious 2. i also got an email a few mins later to say ive won a land rover and a million euro, and also that i was going to help the heir of Kazakstan to get his millions from an underground bunker, which also intrigued me the first time i got 1 but i get 1 a week so there must be a lot of money underground somewhere!

anybody else have any funny phishes?

I think most people now use spam filters so unless they go looking for them, they won't see them.

i got offered a job last week. all i have to do is stay at home, accept money deliveries, then send on 90% of it by western union to my boss. all i needed to give him was by bank details and all my info, as ANY boss would need, obviously. :D im gonna be rich.
