    I am getting more and more excited by this game the more I see of it.

    Dunno if I like the user-created content that takes from Mario and Sonic not being allowed, though to get around this, I hope they allow for you to host your own content on your PS3, rather than it all being their own servers.

    • Anything you can think of, you can make. Just be careful when making a “Sonic” level or a “Mario” level, because that won’t fly on the servers. Name it something generic that won’t warrant deletion.

    Looks like you could get away with it by giving it a not so obvious name.

    I think it'd be fairly difficult to actually rip anything directly from other games for use in LBP.

    You'll have to make your stuff out of the LBP tools and materials. You could make tributes to other games, but if you're not using assets taken directly from those games it shouldn't be a problem. And I don't think it's really possible to do that with LBP (e.g. you can't import 3D models or sprites ripped from a CD or something!)

    I think the problem of calling your level a 'mario' or 'sonic' level would be the simple issue of using those trademarks.

    I got to play this a good few times over the last few days, and it's brillant!!

    I can't remember the last time I played a game where I LOL'ed without it involving some sort of gruesome death. It's just so much fun to play, i didnt want to put it down. Sony are saying this will be a system seller, and from what I played...i think they are right, and i'll be very surprised if MS and Ninty haven't a similar game development a few years from now.

    Just brillant.
