Temping in Dublin

    Hi

Myself and my girlfriend have just recently moved to Dublin and she has been working as a waitress for the last three months. This is not ideal for her because as she is working, she never gets a chance to go out due to her akward working hours. She works long hours over the weekend when everyone is off, and her days off are on a Monday and a Tuesday.

I suggested temping to her but I don't know what the market is like especially with the current situation, so my question is, will it be easy enough for her to find some sort of temping position or anything else for that matter with 9-5 hours?

I must also add that she speaks fluent Spanish and English.

    Thanks

Things were very hectic for June and July. It's gotten quieter over the past week or two. Now might be a good time to apply for a temp job.

Note I work in the industry.

    Best of luck.

ive been onto loads of agencies and sent CVs in and all and not hearing much back. Can you recommend any particular agencies that are good and place people quick enough as im really trying to get work and money is running low.

Chris, the best thing to do is to give them a ring after you send them your CV. You need to stand out from the crowd somehow...

Yeah i know I am going to get onto a few of them this afternoon. I went to a few agencies and I done tests (Excel, Typing) and they said they were the best scores they've had and yet I hear nothing. Its confusing.

They're just very busy. Don't take it personally :)

Give them a ring, get on their radar, and I'm sure you'll find something!

    Good luck.
