Power cable busted - HP laptop

The power cable for my recently purchased HP laptop is busted - think I might have stood on the cable whilst it was plugged in, and the bit that plugs into the laptop itself is now broken and only works if I jiggle it around a bit (and even at that is a dodgy connection).

The serial number on the adaptor is 432309-001. Have tried a few places to see if they stock these so I can buy a new one - komplett, dabs and HP themselves - no luck.

There are some on ebay, but I'd rather not be buying a dodgy one that could ruin my laptop (wasn't there a story recently about dodgy power cables on ebay?).

Any recommendations as to where I could get one?

I bought a battery for a Dell from http://www.laptopparts.ie/. Give them a shout and see how you got on.

Thanks Mark, looks like they might have what I need.

HP site definitely doesnt supply them, which I found odd. eg. you can get them on the US site, but they wont ship outside of the US. And the UK/IE site doesnt supply pavillion chargers.

I had to get one from ebay but that was a refurbished overheating piece of crap - so when i got back to the states I got a real one again -_-

    432309-01 is no longer supplied.

This product has been replaced with 391172-001 which is available from HP Direct.

Im trying to find you the Model Number that includes the Adapter dongle.

What model of HP Laptop is it specifically ?
