The guy must be on some money that mgt want him to succeed so much, or having a great laugh watching him fail miserably.

Makes no difference if spoilers are used if the spoiler itself is contained in your quote. You might want to edit that.

lol he does look tear stricken with every word.foely could have worked great and learned as he went along but that's not happening.

Mike's ****ups are not all on purpose he gave out the wrong ticket information last night as well as stating on air that JBL's energy drink doesnt work

I think the Miz could be a decent shout for Taz' new partner. He's shined there before and would do a better job than any of the three suggested so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,602 ✭✭✭✭ShawnRaven

Miz can actually be quite funny on commentary, i'd much rather him in the booth, while Morrison gets pushed.

Miz isn’t a play by play man though. He could revert to his old MTV era dorky self during commentating for a hour. Which would be a BAD thing.

The Miz would be terrible on commentary. He's great for when he comes down as a performer as he can promote himself and Morrisson and can take shots at his opponents. A full time commentater wouldn't be able to do that. Its their job to big up those competing in the ring, not to tear them down.

Bring back Al Snow, says I.

Bring back Al Snow, says I.

was going to suggest the same, think he could do exactley what Foley is doing with SD, a good job where everyone knows that he knows what he is talking about. Especially seing as he is a WWE superstar, a trainer and former ECW wrestler.

Having two "originals" in the booth would be great from a marketing point of view.

I think they have been "going a different direction" from that for a long while.

I'm going to have to bring you all back down to earth by saying they will probably make the extreme decision to put Todd Grisham on ECW.

Mike Adamle has the potential to be a great heel general manager.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 354 ✭✭Shaneomac

Who commentates in fcw? The thing about Grisham/matthews/korrpella is that they cant be any worse than adamele and they need a chance to get better at play by play now that Heats gone and could up their game similar to Michael Cole a decade ago that is of course if either of them one day want to be play by play guy on Raw/Smackdown. ECW seems to be the place to get seasoned for tv. Problem with Al Snow with Tazz is you really cant have two gimmick driven commentators just like two play by play(Coachman/cole for example)

So would the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase though...

While everyone thought during RAW that Ted was going to be revealed as the new GM, and the actual decision probably threw 99% of viewers - the $1M man would have been better imho.

Is Michael Cole gone from Raw?

    +1

but lets be honest, head would be a better commentator then Todd Grisham on ecw!

And so they should. Yet they still use the ghost of the old ECW as a marketing tool. Take, for example, Dreamer. They seem to want to keep some form of link to the past while carving a completely new direction for the fututre. Having an announce team that never existed in ECW but developed in the WWE would kind of fit in with that ethos.

But they are even removed from that.

So what was J.R. brought in for the other night then? That was never fully explained, was it? Is he replacing Michael Cole?

    No he isnt.

He was told to go the announce desk in storyline.

Basically WWE didnt trust Adamle to call Rawc without assistance.
    Come again?

What you wrote would never again go into their thought process.

Reason Jim Ross was around was Saturday nights main event was being taped the same night as Raw and the fact Adamele cant be trusted

I didnt know where to put this anyways:

I had read that a lot of people thought most of Adamles problems came from a tonne of concussions Mike received from playing American Football (which is something which is very likely true.)

But I didnt know he was actually epileptic too:
