Stupid thread, yes. But i'm feeling stupid so.....

I'm about to have my weekly movie night with a friend of mine, she was raised in a padded room and so has not seen many films that people really should see, thus i have made it my business to introduce her to many classics that she has been deprived from for soo long.

Anyway, we're stopping off to get munchies first, i think i'll be picking myself up some ice cream + coke + random other goodies.

So, what's a necessity in your movie watching endeavors? Be it at the theatre or at home?

if in the cinema it's a massive sprite and a popcorn

Popcorn, Monster Munch and Minstrels all in the same bowl, popcorn is to still be hot from the microwave

I don't really do snacks. If I'm going out to the cinema I'd rather go for an actual meal first and then just get a drink for during the film.

At home, I'd probably stick on a pizza or do some nachos or something.

A nice cheese roll bought beforehand goes down a treat. Bought my first tub of popcorn in the cinema in years on Saturday and it cost 7:60 for medium. Wtf?

Two or three of the following depending on funds and cravings... Minstrels, Maltesers, Popcorn, Strawberry Cornetto, Nachos, Diet Coke.

Or a smuggled in bottle of Coke and an animal bar if feeling frugal.

If i'm at home it will usually be Popcorn, Revels and a pint of Robinsons Orange Barley Water.

At the movies it used to be Peanut M&M's but as the missus is now allergic its usually a bottle of Water, Popcorn and either minstrels or crispy M&M's

At cinema large coke and popcorn though ill get a hotdog if not with the missus.

Watching a dvd with the missus i'd go for a big bottle of coke, big sharer bag of sensations or hunky dorkys with animal bars and flumps, good oul flumps!

Anything sour, Skittles, Jolly Ranchers, etc. At home, just make my own popcorn, have some crisps and a rock shandy.

I can,t stand the local cinema for the sounds, sight and smell of large people munching, sucking and crunching their way through their way through heaps of unhealthy food.

Any chance of making it illegal to eat in cinemas?
