I will miss the Olympics on TV3

    Its soooo sad they could not bring the full force of their excellent sports department to bear on Olympics coverage and that I will have to rely on the BBC and RTE instead :(

    Yeah TV3 are world leaders in sports coverage.

    Hardly worth even holding the Olympics without them.

    I do hope you're being funny? BBC coverage is better than anything else. 400 odd BBC reporters and technicians there, more people than the British team...

    To quote JP McEnroe ' You can't be serious!' BBC will have multiscreen coverage on both satellite and Freeview while RTE have at least plenty of previous experience in this department. I still remember well watching an excellent RTE breakfast highlights programme during 1984 Los Angeles Games which covered all main events that had been held in the 'wee small hours'.

    was just looking at the rte coverage, live coverage each night/day midnight till 7am, mix of live and highlights from 7am to midday, highlights then from midday to 4pm, than another show each evening at 7pm

    plus addition coverage on the net
