Gotta agree with you. One of the worst films I've seen in a long time.

I think this is a great deal and I thought the movie was excellent. I can understand feeling sick watching the movie in the cinema, as the shaky camera style would seem exaggerated on the big screen, but at home on a smaller screen it's not as severe.

    Very nice find.

Justice League: New Frontier is completely awesome by the way and well worth getting at that price.

What did everyone else get? What would they recommend getting?

Watch out for the regions by the way. I ordered Ratatouille and it will only play on North American BluRay players.

Only just copped that but it's already been shipped... so at least they're pretty damn efficient.

Picked up cloverfield (havn't seen it yet) and T2 (it's a classic!) for €24.85 (both region free), cheers OP

whatever about it being a pretty crap film, it is deffo a film that will not make use of the resolution/quality that blu-ray has to offer

I bought Stargate Continuum, 10,000BC and Doomsday on blu ray - all of which were cheaper than Play.com where I usually make my purchases. Tempted to go back now to get Starship Troopers and T2 on blu ray.

At least two of those are Region A. Do you have a Region A player? Bear in mind that the PS3 if bought in Europe is Region B

I'd recommend everyone buy Batman Begins if they're looking for something to really showcase your setup to people, it's by far the best quality BD at the moment, it's also at a really great price!

It also includes the opening 6 minutes of the Dark Knight which is nice to see again.

I have Batman Begins on DVD (great film by the way). Is it worth spending more hard earned on the blu ray as the amp and tv I have upscale to 1080p anyways?

It is truly awful. The 'monster':D looks like a frozen chicken from the freezer cabinet in Tescos.

Well that's killed the Chicken Curry I was planning tonight. Steak it is then.

Cloverfield=great movie, perfectly sums up post 9/11 paranoia, but I guess films with something to say are always subject to mixed reviews.. As an entertaining romp, there was none better released last year.. And as for the Tesco monster, who's to say what a real monster would look like?

If your on about Cloverfield then your talking rubbish, all the camera's used in it were HD cameras also the soundtrack is Dolby Digital Tru Surround high Def soundtrack so anyone who has a High Def setup would be well advised to pick this up, Great Demo disc and an excellent movie!
