I just had a look at my UPC bill and there is a "Non Direct Debit Charge" of €3. The strange thing is that I have always paid by direct debit!

I have to phone them tomorrow about other problems I am having with them, so I will get it sorted then.

Might be worthwhile checking your bill.

I also noticed that the Setanta Sports pack increased in price by €3 to €18 starting from July 1st. Are they allowed to just increase a package like that? I have only had the package for about three months.

might also be worth checking your statement from bank to see did the last direct debit go out cause if it didnt go out for say last two bills your direct debit gets cancelled automatically and you then get charged the non direct debit charge.
and yes unfortuanly im sure its legal for the price to go up on premiums like Setanta something got to do with extra channels recently coming on like setanta sports news and LFC.TV and of course the extra premiership matches and SPL etc.

    Hope this helps
