TV Shows on DVD? What do you own? Favourites? Needs to be released? (etc.)

Quite a general thread really but got a lovely new boxset in the post today.. the 'Seinfeld - Complete Series' boxset.

What struck me about was how well it was presented.. lovely sleek box and the contents are actually in compartments as opposed to being crammed in and bundled tightly together. There's 2 booklets full of DVD's making up seasons 1 - 5, and seasons 6 - 9 and a fantastic big book with quotes, making of, trivia from the series. Definitely one of the most impressive TV boxsets I've seen.

Had to show it off: box, 2 booklets with coffee book, compartments.

Anyways.. like I said, it's more of a general thread for discussion TV shows on DVD. As in what do you own? What's your favourite sets (whether it's by presentation, content or whatever)? What still needs to be released?

Personal favourites are the Apatow ones ('Undeclared' and 'Freaks & Geeks') - both laden with extras and very well produced. And also The X Files and Futurama are both very cool boxsets.

I'm surprised only one Season of Malcolm in the Middle has only been released on DVD. I think it's a great comedy and doesn't get mentioned here enough. Also My Wife and Kids is another great comedy that doesn't get mentioned on Boardds too. Also, I don't get what is so great about Sienfeld. I tried to watch it and like it but I couldn't.

Ordered seasons 1 - 3 off Zavvi in the sale.. and it never arrived so I e-mailed them and they told me I've to wait 21 WORKING days before they can investigate so I have to wait til next week before they'll send me out a replacement.

Different folks for different strokes.. but I was the exact same as you mate.

Didn't "get it" at first, but it requires at least watching a few episodes to really appreciate it. And it really is one of the best comedies ever written.. the writing in it is just fantastic!
