Z: Ah sure those nerds need love too y'know!

OP: There's some new NightClub on Shop St. (Right in the city) it's supposed to be wicked according to the members of this forum. Forget the name of it but it's opposite River Island (Just up from Easons) - Give it a try!

If by good you mean get chatted up by three men and two women when I'm out with herself, then the gippo is definetely the place to be, or it was last night anyway.

While I'm on the topic, Mohicans. What. The. Fuck.

what a cock!! Ive gone through all 7 pages and there is no info on nightclubs in galway?! If you were coming to dublin Id be only delighted to help you out.

Anyway, if theres anyone in your beautiful and usually friendly city, Id like to know where the 30 somethings go for a late night drink.
Your help would be much appreciated.

What big changes? They changed the name to Club LA and took down the "Twirleys" sign. Everything else is the same!

Everywhere should be pretty good this week. I'd avoid GPO because of the crowd. All the older crowd will either stay in late bars like the Kings Head, Cellar or The Front Door. In terms of a night club I'd say Halo or Cuba. Have a good week and keep coming back to Galway PLEASE!! Ignore the hostility by the others, without tourists we have nothing

That's not true. We have potatoes and sheep. And KnackerDwarf

If you're into rock/indie scene then I'd suggest the Róisín Dubh or upstairs in Cuba.

If you're into the scumbag scene then head to CPs or the GPO.

If you want to dance with a bunch of 30something year old bachelors then Halo is the one for you.

If you're into the gay scene go to Twirleys.

Bar 903 is very reliable for some good tunes.

In fairness just go to galway, get plastered and go where the wind takes you, I'm sure you'll have fun. If you don't, you probably won't remember it anyway :p
