Looking for guitarist/singer to jam with

    Hi there,

    I am a struggling guitarist, have been playing on and off for a few years without much success and right now I have hit a brick wall in terms of practising by myself - totally demotivated. I'm 29 but am old at heart. I love all the usual classic rock & pop - beatles, stones, zeppelin, van halen, eagles, boston, kinks, bucks fizz etc but the music I'd really like to play is uptempo rock and roll that you can move to. Currently I love Creedence Clearwater Revival so would like to play that style of rootsy back to basics rock and roll - sam & dave, chuck berry, 50s & early 60s stuff. I'm probably shooting myself in the foot here but I really have to interest in any of the current bands that are popular these days - I'm totally stuck in the past and make no apologies for it. Anyways I'm renting in Mount Merrion so if that's convenient and you want to meet up and see how it goes, cool! I've got a crap acoustic and electric guitar so either style suits - I'm equally crap on both. Ability-wise I'd rate myself as above a beginner but I think I can improve quickly with some goddam motivation! Drop me a line if interested.
