Maestro/Laser Card in Crete?

    Hi all,

    Can I use my Laser/Maestro/Link ATm card in ATMs in Crete?

    Hersonnissos to be precise! THANKS!

    Yes. Any ATM with a Maestro/Cirrus/Mastercard logo will accept it.

    Thank you. Do you know this for definate though? As if that's the case I'll only bring €100 in cash with me and get the rest from ATMs over there.

    I suggest that if you don't trust Buffy then just ask your bank or check their website.

    If the card has a Maestro symbol on it then you will be able to find somwhere to use it.

    I am 100% certain that ATM cards work over there, me and my mates went to hersonosos last summer and all our cards worked fine (personally mine is AIB laser with the maestro)

    im going to crete on friday night too with my bank card and its going to work :)

    err, did you read Buffy's reply? ATM will be fine. Otherwise it's all up to the establishment if they accept it or not. It's impossible to generalise a whole country and say that it's accepted everywhere.

    ALL atm machines in hersonosos will accept your maestro card. trust me.

    Yeah, just back yesterday and they do work.

    If you're looking for an ATM over there, look for the SPAR in HErsonissos and there's one right beside that.
