Threatened industrial action called off by Corporate Communications

Iarnród Éireann is pleased to advise customers that the threatened one-day stoppage on Friday 1st August by Permanent Way (line maintenance) staff in the Cork area has been called off.

Iarnród Éireann thanks the LRC for its assistance in almost 11 hours of talks today with trade unions.

All rail services will now operate normally, and we look forward to meeting the travel needs of all rail customers across the busy August Bank Holiday weekend ahead.
