My da actually gave me one of the tbone ones he didnt want and it works great! Good battery life and a nice handy setup. I think 99 euro. Never gave me a problem

Do cheap ones 'suck tone' or is it perfect? Thomann home made stuff seems to be great quality.

Well the da found it changed the EQ of his fiddle but thats a different sort of beast will less variables. I A/B'd on the guitar and it was almost unnoticable TBH

In Ireland & UK you can only use 863-865Mhz license free. That's what I was told in no uncertain terms by Comreg and various googling for documents seem to back that up.

You could use some of the other frequency bands but then you'd be a bold boy ;);)

C'mon man. It's hard enough to get the cops to show up when there's burnt cars and joyriders, I hardly think they're gonna be kicking down the door while your mid-Stairway To Heaven for illegally broadcasting a mighty 10mW of power over a range of 15 feet. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised ;)

    It's probably been done before.

Well, they all affect your tone. Like using active pickups, or a solidstate input stage on your amp.
