Speakers for PS3

    Hi everyone,

just looking for some advice on sound for my PS3. I'm currently running out of space on my desk and would prefer not to buy a massive set of speakers for the ps3.

I have my pc connected to a Bose Wave Stereo using a standard 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack. Sound card is a SB Live Digital 5.1 (doesn't have an optical connection though).

And my ps3 is currently connected to my monitor using the sound from the HDMI cable (this is the monitor http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-058-SA) but the sound is pretty poor.

If possible I would like to keep using the BOSE for sound for both because the sound is excellent from it and it's an expensive stereo. I bought a splitter and an adapter to plug the PS3 into the 3.5mm jack along with the PC but the problem is when I do that the PC's sound takes priority and you can barely hear the PS3.

Just wondering is there an easy way to run both pc and ps3 through the bose using the 3.5mm line in or failing that is there a reasonable (< €100) set of speakers that anyone would recommend. I'm pretty tight on space so nothing huge would be great.

    Thanks!
