[Models Inc.] Stock & Event notices

Hi all,

We have the sign up sheet for the Irish open on the shop counter of Models Inc on Upper Dorset Street, so if you sign up and pay a deposit the total for the Competition is €20 instead of €25. Just to remind you again the prizes are as follows:

1st Prize: €200 Army with the option of having it painted, Legends Prerelease (fingers Crossed) and a very big Trophy that says you powned everyone else.
2nd Prize: €100 Army with option of having it painted
3rd Prize: €50 Voucher
Best Painted Army
Best Warcaster/Warlock kill
Most Sporting.

The Prize Support is very dependent on you guys participating so the more people the more we can guarantee this level of prizes.

PP have given us full support for this and we really need to make it a great day so please sign up and join in the fun. With enough people we should hopefully have something for everyone who attends and all the money that is paid goes into prize support for the Tournament.

The Warhammer 40k Assault on Black Reach will be available this September in Models Inc. Preorder now with a 5 euro deposit and only pay a total of 50 euro. RRP in Games Workshop is 60 euro.

When placing your order you can choose to either take two complete sets of Orks or two complete sets of Space Marines as an alternative to taking the box set as it is set out. (See White Dwarf 344 for further details on the box set).
This offer will be on a first come first served basis due to limited quantities of stock available.

I have created this thread to facilitate Draego of Model's Inc. making announcements of stock and events at the shop. Ordinarily, boards.ie has a policy of traders having to buy a trade-pack of sorts given they are being presented with a captive market., but given the quiet nature and small community of this particular forum I am going to permit Model's Inc. to post. Hence this thread.

All of the above is at the discretion of both the moderators and owners of boards.ie and may be reviewed at any time without notice.

We'll be running a Hordes/WarMachine tournament in the shop on Saturday, October the 11th.

500 point lists, and the tournament will be using Privateer Press' Steam-Roller 4 rules.

Entry cost is 15 euro, and all entry fees will go towards the prize pool.
Entry for under 18s is ten euro.

There'll be prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, best painted single model, and sportsmanship. If we have enough
entrants, we may do some other small prizes. If anyone wins more than 1 prize, they'll get the glory, but the add
itional rewards will go to a spot prize for someone else.

Registration opens at 10am and CLOSES at 10:45
The first round will begin at 11am.

No proxying, and don't forget, under steam-roller rules, you're allowed to bring two army lists (from the same faction of course), and choose which to play before each match.

Pre-sales of tickets will start in the shop on Monday.

Beginners are very welcome, that's one of the reasons we chose 500 points over 750, and the steam-roller time lim
its are very generous, and include an extra 5 minutes for the 1 turn of your choice.
