Hey,I was looking at Viking direct.ie and saw some very very nice swivel chairs that were dirt cheap,so I was about to make an account and I see all this lark about putting in a business name and no. of employess etc etc. Now I know Viking caters for businesses but do they not cater for regular non business running folk like myself? if not do you think I could get away with making up a business name,I'd bull**** that I was self employed or something on the invoice,so what do you think?

the problem with that is that they can check the company name/ vat registration number on the CRO, so they will probably know you are faking it.

You don't need to be a business.

Ring them and you can create an Account that works payment with order by Credit Card. I've delt with them time-out-of-mind. Some stuff is good, some is rubbish. I got cheap swivel chairs 15 years ago and they disintegrated. I got 300 Euro leather faced (fake leather back) exec swivel chair reduced to 69 Euro 3 years ago and it's been fine.

They sometimes are cheaper and sometimes not. But handy and FAST!
