I have to drive to Cork every day next week to attend a revision course and i cant seem to find useful info on where to park my car during the day. is there any sort of visitors car park and if so how much. Or does anyone know where i could park the car for the day near ucc?

there's two visitors car parks in ucc - costs are €1 for the first 4 hours, €1.50 for the next two and €2 per hour thereafter. one is on college road, one down at gaol cross. there are also 2 park and rides - one in dennehy's cross, 10 mins walk to UCC and one in Pouladuff, with a free park and ride every 20 mins or so.
    details here.

thanks. I used the park and ride facilities in place this morning and it was very handy indeed.

Does anybody know about parking facilities in the Tyndall building?

I'll be spending most of my time up in the old microelec department next year and would love not to have to walk...

I know where it is - there's a load of parking spaces around the building, I'm wondering who has access to them.

they're staff access only - there's a 3 year waiting list for staff that work in the Building to get access to it............

Dennehy's cross is only about 10 mins walk from main campus. It's actually a park and walk during the summer.

saturdays and sundays (and from 6 or so on every evening) the barriers are up and it's a free for all. they may not have every car park open (the back of the kane is often left closed).
