Where to stay in Chang Mai??

    Hi!

    I'll be spending about 3/4 in Chang Mai but i don't know which area is best to stay in, any recommendations? And where to go ad what to see? I'll be doin a trek so i'll prob on;ly have 2/3 full days there...

    spicy thai backpackers. nooms the manager and can arrange really good value treks.

    Cheers for that! I checked ot put but its booked up for the time im there...is there many other places near it or in that area that you know?

    Mid range i suppose. Just want somewhere where i'm not in the middle of nowhere!

    we stayed in a hotel for around €25 a night.

    raming lodge.

    booked through aisa hotels.

    grand for staying a night or 2.

    its between the night bazaar and the market square.

    they also will hold your bags while you go off trekking for a couple of days for no charge which is handy.
