Powerbook Battery

    Just a quick one, is there anybody who has a spare battery for a 12" G4 1 Ghz PB?

    Mine is down to just 15% life on a full charge and I don't think I can warrant the €129 on the online shop for a replacement. While I don't mind too much buying a generic battery online (At varying prices and delivery times), I'd be as happy to take one off somebody local (Dublin) provided that it's lifespan is decent.

    I have an iBook 12" battery here but it's not going to fit that machine but have you checked this ?

    Believe it or not, my unit falls into the list of machines affected and I have contacted Apple twice over this but seemingly my machine is not covered by same, don't ask:(

    My machine did too, but the particular battery didn't. I got nearly 5 years out of the battery anyway, so I couldn't complain.
