    It's nice.

What age are you? What are you into? Who are you going with?

I'm 22 but the crowd I'm going with are male and female of various ages from early 20's to mid 60's so we'll be probably doing the touristy thing as opposed to anyting else.

I really hope you are taking the piss.

    Krakow is lovely.

Do a search in this forum for information.

As a starter, go to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines.

All information is in the other threads that are on here.

I was in Krakow myself last year for a few days with a friend. They are from the area so I had no difficulty finding my way around :). The public transport is excellent as the trams and the buses operate on the same tickets which are easily purchased in most of the shops. If you get homesick there is an Irish bar on Jana Street. If you like your beers good and strong, I highly recommend trying some Żywiec Porter. It's a meaty 9.5%! The nightlife is different to Ireland as their licensing laws are a lot more sensible. The pubs/nightclubs can stay open as long as they like.

As well as the other stuff that's been mentioned already, I would also recommend visiting the Jewish quarter in Kazimierz.

I found just walking around the streets looking at the buildings to be quite interesting as well. You get to see dreary Communist-era concrete blobs interspersed with more modern structures.
