Alarms: Airtech CS 350 wont arm

There is a Airtech CS 350 in our new house and when we try to arm the alarm we get a message saying "Open zones" then "cabinet tamper" and it wont allow the alarm to activate. It only started happening the other day after the panic alarm was pressed (by mistake). Is there any way around this?

I don't have the engineers code (tried the default and it didn't work).

It's eirther the lid of the panel is off/not on properly or the aux tamper is open. First thing I would do is give the front of the panel (not keypad) a light smack with your hand.

Also check the sensors for a loose cover

And check with the panic button that you don't need a key to release the button. Is the panic button held in or did it pop back out when released.

That shouldn't be the problem if the alarm is installed correctly. It's possible that the panic is wired into the tamper circuit (which isn't correct) but it's possible.

I already used the key to reset the panic button and it popped back up so I dont think that is it. I will look at the panel cover and check the sensors. Thanks for the replies.
