Quick question on buying in B&H....

    Just looking at prices on the B & H Photo website. I know that in America you have to add sales tax at the counter if buying in a bricks and mortar shop, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows if the prices quoted on the website are inclusive or exclusive of this sales tax? And if not, how much has to be added on?

    I think it's 7% in New York (?) but it doesn't apply if delivery is outside the state.

    Dont think the website has it incl., just over 8% i think. B&H is a mad place, very busy, but worth a visit even if not buying. (Adorama is not so busy and quicker to get in and out)

    Feck, I'm heading over in a few weeks and planned to pick up a fair bit of stuff there, so I had hoped the website prices were inc the sales tax. In terms of pricing, is there anywhere in NY that canbeat them? I'll still probably drop in anyway, everyone says it's an experience in itself.

    Ask them for a discount if you are paying cash.
    I did and it worked.. then be cheeky and ask for something thrown in to seal the deal..

    Anyone want to buy a gorilla pod for compact camera :P j/k
    I gave it away but they are open to a deal..
