Its likely at least 2 of the matches will be in croke park if not all of them in the form of 2 double headers on the 9th and 10th of September. Depending on who Dublin get they may be on their own cause if it was dublin and Armagh say I think that match would sellout all by its self

I think the Dublin game will be on its own, regardless of who they're playing.

There is a huge fixture backlog so its looking like Dublin will be playing a double header. I think they should stick the other match to Pairc Tailteann or O'Moore park and hopefully get a big crowd there while the Dubs sell out Croker.

This is the only real news about the quarter finals so far

    http://www.hoganstand.com/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=98729
The GAA have moved to clarify that provincial champions will not be allowed to meet the teams they beat in their respective finals when the draws for the All-Ireland football quarter-finals are made.

So far all the rounds of the football qualifiers have been based on open draws with teams allowed to meet sides they have already played in the championship. So far there have been no repeat meetings this year, but the possibility exists for a repeat meeting in the third round if Armagh were to face Down or Fermanagh to take on Donegal.

However, the GAA have confirmed that when the draws for the All-Ireland quarter-finals are made, the four provincial champions will not be allowed to meet the sides they defeated in their provincial deciders.

If the four beaten provincial finalists were all successful in round 3 of the qualifiers, in the All-Ireland quarter-finals Wexford could not meet Dublin, Kerry could not meet Cork, Mayo could not face Galway and a repeat clash between Fermanagh and Armagh would not be permitted.

The four provincial champions will be drawn against the round 3 qualifier winners in the quarter finals to be played on the weekend of 9/10 August.

Kilkenny V the winners of Cork/Clare in the hurling is in Croke Pk on the 10th August. It's possible that if Cork beat Clare, then the Cork football QF could be doubled up with that.

Dublin are most likely to play on Sat 9th August, but don't rule out it being put back to Sat 16th August either as they may try to play the remaining 2 QFs on Sat 9th.

Bottom line, is it will be next Monday week before we know.
