Camping in Clifden??

    Hi guys,

    I'm looking for somewhere for a group of us to camp (maybe about 8 tents) on the night of Saturday August 9th. I've emailed the only official campsite, who say that they are full that night. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any un-official camping places in/very near Clifden town?

    Hi,

    I know its a bit late but we have arranged with a farmer to camp in his field for teh weekend so if you havnt found anywhere ye can join us

    The Clifden eco Beach Campsite & Caravan Park is a very good site. About 10 minutes from Clifden near to Claddaghduff village. The owners do a great job in providing the best camping experience for you including your own fire pit (free) fishing & so on. Check it out yourself for the full details.
