These were pretty good value for money when they came out. Porsche has just released details of another new Cayman - more expensive than the standard one. Wish Porsche would release a stripped out version of this car - and pass the saving onto the customer.., Would give people like me some hope again!

good to look at and much better than the 944 to drive - the CS won Autocars best handling car in the world title - I don't know what year that was though

I'm afraid I do have too.......but see my sig if you want to cure that. Preferably I'll sell the manual one, the Tiptronic one is so much more civilised.......

was at the Porsche Club BBQ in - Stillorgan ? - last Sunday, lots of nice cars, including 944's and 928. Mine was the only 968. Early Boxsters not looking so hot, now, and some of the older watercooled 944's have been updated to look v modern - pity you have to have the year on the plates, really..........

Our manual one is in daily use, and the Tip occassionally. Well, it's either that or take the 9-3.........so she's getting (too !) attached to the manual one !

Btw, just looked in the folder of paperwork with the car today, and saw how much it cost new, in 1993. £39k. Sterling. EEk!! How much would that be, today ??

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
