about 20 shots with a 12mm on DX with a nodal pano head. Stitched together then output as a quicktime movie. In other words alot of steps.

Thanks, I used PTGui for the primary stitch and pano2qtvr for the quicktime conversion. Alot of work but I think that with practice the workflow would be smooth. You have to be careful choosing the base exposure as there is a hugh dynamic range in a 360 view.

which pano head did you use

I use a manfrotto 303sph and leveling base

PTgui rocks, once you have a template for your pano head setup in it the speed of the workflow can be quite quick

I use a nodal ninja 3, light and it does the job. Would love to get a 10.5 fisheye, 6 shots would be alot easier to manage but that's alot of money to drop on a niche lens.
On my list next to a 28mm pc/e lens
