Connecting MacBook to HDTV

I was wondering what kind of cable I needed to connect my MacBook to a HDTV. I was wondering if it is possible to have the sound and picture coming through one cable or do I need separate cables for both?

You can get a DVI to HDMI cable, like this:

But as the MacBook does not have a full size DVI output, you also need the mini-DVI to DVI adapter from Apple, assuming you don't already have one:

Unfortunately, this will not give you sound (you would have to have an actual HDMI output on the laptop, which no Mac laptops currently have) so you'll need to connect cables for sound too, either stereo mini jacks or optical to a digital decoder.
