    Hey All,

I purchased some items from ebay recently with a value of about €20. However, the delivery time has been exceeded. The ebay trader provided me with a Customs Decl. No.

Does anybody know how I might use this to track down the package?

    Thanks!

    j

I think you're being fobbed off. Customs wouldn't be interested in anything less than €22, officially, and generally nothing under about €40. Is the seller based outside the EU?

Only a postal tracking number can be used for tracking an item, if he can't provide this, then he has no way of knowing where it is. If customs contact anyone, it'll be the recipient, not the sender, as the recipient is the one liable for the customs duty and VAT.

Sounds like your seller is from the U.S?

Does the number he gave you begin with CP and end in US? If thats the case you will not be able to track it online (you will but the results wont tell you much) but it should be enough for you to call (if you want the item that much) the USPS to try and track it down.

If your seller is not from the US then just ignore this message :D

You could always email your seller asking how he sent it and if he has a tracking number.
