    you are getting treatment off.

is it out of order to ask out a physiotherapist who is treating you? she works in a private practice (not her own), not the hospital.

As far as i know, they won't simply because of ethical issues, try when you are about to end your treatment. At least then you won't have to go back if you get refused

Yeah definately do it on your last treatment or after. Anything else is just plain awkward.

And the ethical hindrances are in place also.

It won't happen while you are being treated.
Wait until that's finished or you move to another doctor and then give it a go.

It is very common for people to fall for someone who is treating them in that way. This is because these therapists are non-judgemental and their job is to listen and they are good at that.

Based on ethical ground rules, I think you would be wasting your time asking them out...as well as that, who knows when you may need to start therapy again down the line and the fact that you would have asked this person out would most certainly rule them out of treating you again!

    huh?

It's a physio not a shrink. Wait till the last session as ask them for a beer. Where's the harm.

In fairness, she's a physio and not a psychotherapist. Even though, probably is best to wait.
