Buying a Macbook Air in America ?

    I have a sister who is America at the moment.

    Is it much cheaper to buy these in America ? If so I am gonna get her to buy me one.

    Is buying through an apple store your best bet over their or can you buy them elsewhere ?

    What price should i expect to pay for one ?

    I got one back in April (I think) from the states along with the 1st Gen Iphone. Think the laptop cost me 1200 euro?
    I remember at the time I think I saved around 450 euro on both.
    Hope this helps.

    ps She got it in the apple shop, the macbook air is a super little laptop.
    Not extremely powerful but compact and does the job.
