ipod issues!!

    I just bought a new ipod, i previously had the old version of the ipod nano but i bought the newer version a couple of weeks ago....everytime i plug the new ipod into itunes it asks me to upload a new library,thats grand but my best friends brother did this and all of his songs got wiped! i dont have my library backed up 2 discs as it would take too long(8,000 songs),is there any other way i could save all my music and upload after changing libraries??!! please help!!!!!

    Try turning off autosync and then manually transfer all your music.

    Buy an external hard drive and transfer the songs over ....
