Santorini or Zakynthos

    Thinking of going to one of the above, specifically Tslivi in Zakynthos.

    Do any of the irish tour operators do packages to Santorini?

    Will both places be warm last week of Sept?

    FYI I was in Santorini with my girlfriend and found it a bit strange that all the guys in some of the nightclubs were looking at me more than her...
    Apprently it is a popular destination for gay guys if that changes any requirements you have for your holiday...
    Have to say tho, it is a beautiful place and probably a lot quieter than Zakynthos, less package hols there i think...

    i have been to zakynthos, laganas & really liked it but have heard really good things about santorini too. I would go for santorini though - looks amazing in brochures- really unspoilt.

    Spent 2 days in Santorini a few years back when we became bored with the package holiday which put us ona much noiser island.

    Very beautiful place, much less exploited that other islands I thought and well worth the visit.

    XL do holidays to Santorini.
    I was there with my wife in May 07, we both enjoyed it.
    Its not suitable if you're particularly interested in night life etc.
    My daughter and her boyfriend went to Zakynthos last year, and while they enjoyed the holiday,
    the Island does seem to be more expensive than most other Greek Islands.
