Has anyone ever photographed Darts?

    Watching the Darts on SkySports now and realised I've never seen any Dart photographs here.
    When I was very much a newbie I tried to do it in my local but I didn't have a clue about TV/Shutter speeds at the time, not had a go since.

    I suppose you'd just want before they throw it.. and just as its left (getting them in view, or something..)

    not the most exciting thing to photograph :)

    If your a Darts fan it would be!!
    Also their entrances, the showmanship of the players, Darts has moved on since years ago.
    This tourney is on in the Winter Gardens and that is a massive hall (I've being there for gigs)and holds many thousands and is totally sold out all week that it's being on,

    Well.. you can probably guess im not a fan of pointy weighted needles flying about :p T'would put me to sleep!

    I have seen images, but it's been a long time ago.

    Ideally, you want the dart just having left the hand, and have the face in view. Not easy. I'd say you would want a very fast shutter speed.

    An interesting prospect and a real challenge I'd say.
