OK, the big silver button on the right of the phone in the image is not functioning for me when I choose the plus side. It's used for turning up/down the volume and for zomming in/out on the camera.

When pressed in, it does not respond. It was fine the other day, and now it's just stopped working. I don't recall the phone being dropped in the past few days, and I've tried turning the phone on/off with no effect.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem when I have no warranty? Any advice would be great.

Sounds like the phone got a fall or a knock and the button is just stuck
On most phones it would be simple enough.
With the N73 its a tricky cover to work on.
Really what you need to do is get the bottom casing pulled out slightly at that point and let the button pop back into its normal position. Its easier said than done. Try it and see how you get on. If you have no luck, I'd be more than happy to do it for you

This happened to my n73 as well, sent it away to be repaired after a bad flash, and it was like that when i got it back, also the battery was only lasting just over a day, so it seemed to me at the time that the button was permanently pushed down and in doing so was draining the battery, sent it away for repair again(voda)and it came back fine, the enclosed invoice said that they replaced the lcd display, but what that would have to with the button on the side i don't know

OK, not sure about how to go about this by myself, and the only thing I can see viable would be to sent the phone to Nokia to their freepost service.

Has anyone had any experience with using this service?
