    Hi,
This is kinda a stupid question but i just wanted to check. I'm going on holidays to the states. I'm currently on the bill contract Meteor 200 (04) plan. When i get billed for calls/texts over in the states i'm presumming these will be seperate to the set amount i pay for my bill?Is this correct?

For roaming in the states the prices are completely separate to your price plan.

The Meteor website is brutal so i cannot find the information there. Just give them a call.

You have to insure your phone is tri-band.

You can find out information on your phone here

    www.gsmarena.com

    GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 - The 1900 band means a phone is tri-band.

Thanks for the link. I had forgotten to check if it was tri-band phew!

Yeah its got tri-band.Its going to be damn expensive using my phone though. At least with pay as you go its easier to keep track of how much you're spending.

89c per minute to receive, 99c per minute to make. Billed per minute

You will actually need a quadband phone to be 100% sure of coverage all over
Some of the AT&T/Cingular towers are still on 850Mhz there, so your phone will need all 4 bands
