I change the stock cooler on my 7800gtx back in the day for an Arctic Cooling solution and it worked out fairly well.

I think I ordered from overclockers.co.uk at the time..

    thanks for the post SickBoy...

ive scoured about and came across a review of the Zalman FATAL1TY VGA Cooler. the reason it interested me most was that the review was using the 7900GS to assess the card - same as mine! the article has detailed pics and how-to's about installation. its on Komplett.ie too so i might just go for it...when it comes to PC's i tend to look for a possible problem but this seems a no-brainer... :D

Generally anything with the Fatal1ty label is overpriced shíte. Just get an ordinary Zalman and save money, Here, or without the blue led's Here. Not used the VF900 myself but I have a second gaming pc here with a Volt modded 7900Gt and a Zalman VF700Cu This, Both are great coolers.

Then you can Volt mod it :DHere is a guide i made up at the time, its the same architecture as the 7900Gt. That card is still on the go nearly 2 yrs later and can play COD4 at medium settings @ 1920x1200. My young fella uses it in his rig for Steam games on a smaller monitor @ 1280x1024

Ok, so bought the Zalman VGa Coooler. Installs great, no bother at all. A Little hitch though, my Dell Dimension 9200 motherboard doesnt have a fan power out! so i cant power my fan

Can i buy some kind of converter to attach the 3-pin fan power lead to one of the spare 4-pin power leads inside my case? im assuming that the voltages would all be the same? i hope so anyway!

    EDIT:
Went up to Maplins at lunchtime. Nice fella there sorted me out with an adapter. Crisis averted.
