Anyone know the craic about the Full Tilt poker millions game on in London? 80online qualifiers play against their team of pro's. Came very close to being one of them qualifiers and wondering what did I really miss out on. Is there only one winner of a million pound or do alot of people get paid in this main event?

winner of the tournie in london plays Ivey,Hansen et al for a shot at the million quid..I think,check out the Full Tilt site perhaps?

I figure if you manage to trawl through the minefield online then win the live mtt and then manage to beat Ivey and Hansen heads up you bloody well deserve a million quid;)

UK/Ireland Residents Qualification for the Full Tilt Poker Million Pound Challenge

Airing on Sky Sports in February 2009, 80 Million Pound Challenge (MPC) online qualifiers will compete in London to play Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen and Patrik Antonius heads up for the chance to win £1,000,000.

The Million Pound Challenge will be filmed in London in September. Anyone wanting to participate can only do so by qualifying online at FullTiltPoker.com, with qualification ending on September 5th 2008.

Qualifier Tournament Details

There are daily Freeroll Qualifiers at 16:20 ET (21:20 UKT) already running with additional Freeroll Qualifiers every Monday, Saturday and Sunday at 14:20 ET (19:20 UKT).

The winner of each tournament qualifies for the live event in September and the prize package includes £500 for expenses. Players at the live event play in a MTT until there is final amateur table of 6, which is then filmed for TV. These 6 players will cash with the winner receiving a minimum of £50,000 and the chance to play 3 pros heads-up for up to £1,000,000. Beat 1 pro and win £100,000, 2 for £200,000 and all 3 for £1,000,000!

Earn a Ticket to the Qualifier in the Following Ways:

Make a first time deposit between July 7th and September 5th and get 1 ticket.

Earn points every week:

Full Tilt Points Tickets
100 points 1 ticket
500 points 2 ticket
1500 points 3 ticket
3000 points 4 ticket

The freerolls are already running.

Non-Freeroll Qualifiers:

In addition to the 56 freerolls, there will also be real money tournaments three days a week (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) where the winner will also qualify for the Million Pound Challenge. Saturday and Monday will have a $5+$0.50 buy-in; Sunday will have a $10+$1 buy-in. The remaining 24 qualifications will be won in this way.
