Ahh Ballycroy, fond memories of going to school with some of the natives....lunch favourite for the Ballycrusian men in those days...

"A hang sangwitdch and a yellow package of farmer browns" ..was so good with the accent.......

Ballycroy ftw ;)....just for the memories

Bangor I'd say, unless you fancy getting lost in the mountain in Ballycroy and getting savaged by sheep :D

Went to school with people from Ballycroy. Omg the slagging we gave them behind their backs (us being cooler of course, being from further wesht again than Bangor) :pac:

    Hi there,
Yes they are inhabited and both places thriving!!!:)Ballycroy is about to open their door to a new National Park and as for Bangor/Belmullet area they have number of hotels...the Broadhaven being the newest.
As for the accents lads and gals.......the general area of Balycroy, Bangor, Belmullet, Mulranny and Achill all have all same wonderful accents and as for the sheep there is no shortage in all of the named areas:)

    *cough*
and not forgetting the lesser inhabited commuter zones of Gaoth Saile et al ( big up for the old Ostan Synge!! )

Ballycroy for the sheer barren-ness of it all... and the fact that it's NOT Bangor!!!

ah bless... old parish rivalry!! :p

The only good thing about Bangor is the road to Ballycroy.
