what to wear to a movie premier

    My wife is going to the movie premier of Adam Sandlers new movie. What would be the dress ' code ' for a premier??

    Depends on the capacity she's going in. If she gonna be on the red carpet just wear her good clothes, if not then smart, casual?!?

    Is this the Irish 'premiere'?

    Isn't that just the movies.ie showing ? Wear whatever then.

    I've been to plenty of Irish premieres and no-one dresses up, regardless of whether there's a red carpet or not. If there's a party afterwards, normal "going out" clothes are fine.

    My sister and I still talk about the girl who showed up at the "Alfie" premiere at the Savoy in a floor-length evening gown a few years back.

    I don't think they've announced winners yet, so I doubt it's just movies.ie. It will have Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider at it but I doubt they'll care what clothes people are wearing!
