Hmm, I don't know about in the college. But during my degree I worked in a callcentre on Saturdays, it was really handy for me.

EDIT: The library actually take on student staff on a part-time basis. Check out http://booleweb.ucc.ie for details.

DOUBLE EDIT: There is no information regarding recruitment there, but they do take on part-time students. Ring the number listed to find out.
