Any idea how much tickets/entry is?

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 6,525 Mod ✭✭✭✭dregin

These gigs are usually €10 or less.

Thanks. I just saw it on the flyer on last.fm, it's €10. Well, for the Dublin show at least. I assume it's the same.

You headin from Dublin? I think a few us *might* be goin over on the train. Haven't heard anything from the headline band, tbh. Goin for the trip more than anything, but hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised :)

I'm actually going to the one in Dublin, I didn't realise at the beginning that it said Galway! Strike Anywhere are pretty good, kinda like Anti-Flag/Propagandhi I guess

Meh :( Went off that Fat Wreck version of "PUNK RAAWWWK" a good while ago. Still listen to anti-flag the odd time, though. Who's puttin em on in Dublin?

Demented Promotions are putting 'em on in Dublin chief. :)

Don't like the headline band. Them Fat Wreckchords bands are wearing a bit thin now. The other bands are good though. Are they confirmed?

STRIKE ANYWHERE (Richmond, Virginia - Fat Wreck Chords)
"As much of the country, and punk music, broke into political ambiguity and disinterest at the turn of the century, Richmond, VA.'s Strike Anywhere bucked the trend with Change is a Sound. Unintimidated by the recent "uncooling" of politics, vocalist Thomas Barnett wears his convictions on his sleeve, referencing Zinn, Goldman and historic antifascist movements. The band, meanwhile, makes no secret of its influences, playing melodic, energetic punk in the realm of Avail, Soulside or 7 Seconds. At home in a sweaty basement, a warehouse or a yawning club replete with stage lighting, Strike Anywhere comes with a cynics advisory warning."
