Apartments in Dubai

    Hey guys!

    Ok, so I'm planning a holiday in dubai for around Sept/Oct, was originally gonna go with a hotel, however having seen some nice apartments they seem like much better value.

    Could anyone recommend any high standard (like 5*) apartments in Dubai, preferably near Jumeirah Beach and/or the shopping districts.

    Also, has anyone ever stayed in any of the apartments on The Palm Jumeirah? Is there still a lot of construction and bulding work going on there?

    Would love to hear back from anyone who has previously been to Dubai and could recommend nice apartments/hotels, restaurants, places of interest etc.. :)

    Oh I'm well aware if the Burj Al Arab! ;)

    Been wanting to go there for gosh, years now!! I know a few people who stayed there, and well, it's the last word! Don't think my wallet will be quite stretching to two weeks in the Burj Al Arab any time soon though! lol
