Thinking of getting a new putter, have been using an Odyssey 2 ball dfx for a good few years but I think i have developed a mental block with it cant hole anything. Was hoping someone on here could recommend something

    Thank

Got the Odyssey Tour #1 a few weeks ago. Absolutely savage.

I got the Taylor Made Monza Spider a few weeks back and it's great....

I use a Cleveland VP1 myself, I find that mentally it is a good putter because they focused on the visual side of things, with the black head and bright orange lines for lining up your putt. I would recommend it highly, particularly if you are struggling to get the putt set up in your head before you play the shot.

The problem you might have with it is that there is a considerable weight difference between it and the Odyssey 2-ball. I like the weight of mine but am considering adding a bit of weight.

You should try a YES putter. They used to have them at celbridge driving range. Get the ball rolling much quicker. Can be bought on ebay too

They sell the YES putters in Green 18 in Sandyford. I'd never heard of them before but tried a couple on their artificial putting green and decided to go for one. Really nice putters!

The yes ones are indeed nice. Lovely roll off them and not badly priced.

Try our the Taylor Mades as well... i have a Daytona Rossa and really like it. the colours make it good for lining up.

Get fitted. Its the only answer.

Loft, Lie and Length need to be assessed.

The MD Golf putters retail at about €65 in Green 18.
Nice hefty weight with clean lines.
Won't suit everyone, but it sorted my 2-3ft 'issues'.

if your in a position to buy online, i'd highly recommend a RIFE 2 bar putter...they are amazing and you can adjust the weight of them. the idea behind the bars is that you will bring the putter staright back and staright through which makes it hard to pull/push putts. they are not available in ireland, hence having to buy online

I have a Left handed RIFE 2 bar hybrid ( http://rifeputters.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=80 ) and I got it from Fore golf in newbridge www.foregolf.ie

It's an excellent putter, especially if you have been struggling to get putts on line or have the yips (like I had). The lines help to build confidence and the weight of the putter keeps it more stable.
