Looks like Batman has finally been forced to face the laws he's broken:

    Source= MAIL ON SUNDAY
Batman star Christian Bale has been arrest today over an alleged
assault in his London hotel suite, according to reports.

The allegation was made by the Welsh-born actor’s mother and sister before the European premiere of The Dark Knight in the West End last night - but police decided not to intervene in order not to spoil the first-night celebrations.

Bale, 34, faced police questioning this afternoon over the incident at the Dorchester Hotel.

Bale’s mother Jenny, 61, and sister
Sharon, 40, who lives in Dorset, went to
a police station in Hampshire yesterday
to lodge the allegation of assault.

The matter was referred to the
    Metropolitan Police.

One source said: 'It would have been
wrong to wreck the premiere over a complaint which we do not yet know is
    founded in truth.'

Scotland Yard said earlier today: 'We can confirm that we have received an allegation from another force in relation to an incident in central London.'

The alleged assault happened on Sunday — the same time as another drama that cast its shadow over the premiere.

Oh, that was just about Peaches Geldof O.D-ing on Sunday, that daft bitch.

She's fine now, if you're wondering. :pac:

Are they seriously trying to compare the opening of what is being celebrated as one of the greatest films ever made with some idiot cheating natural selection?

Can't understand the flippancy in this thread towards what is after all a very serious matter (male violence against women).
Bale is a terrific actor and his performance in Rescue Dawn is one of my favourites but I've lost a lot of respect for him now.

    So..

Did he actually do it or is it still alleged?

Turns out Aaron Eckhart really did it but Bale took the blame for the good of society.

Where as male violence against another male isn't as big a deal?
Violence is violence, assault is assault. It''s not the 50's imo.

    P.S: Alleged.

Apparantly he s**t himself when they threw him in the slammer.
Good thing he was wearing his underpants outside his trousers.

You didn't even respect him enough originally to grant him a fair trial before condemning him as guilty.

Apparently it was a verbal assault over financial demands - allegedly.

The alleged story is that Bale's mother and sister were demanding money off him. There are reports that they threatened to sell stories to the tabloids. Is'nt it funny how all of a sudden people are crawling out of the woodwork to accuse him of threatening people on the T4 set now.

Having met Bale on two ocassions, I can only say taht he was one of the nicest people I ever met. The second time I met him was shortly after he was cast as Batman and he spopped and talked to me for over half an hour in the street.

It isn't a serious matter seeing as he pushed his mother because she was preventing him from leaving his hotel room. He hadn't really seen her for years yet she and his sister came to his hotel room to demand £100,000 off him because his sister can't afford to raise her kids.

Anyway, reports are now stating that the alledged 'assualt' never took place.

Me too. Well, not famous people, but well known people here in Ireland - presenters and such who come across as really sound and a great laugh. Turned out to be complete and utter dicks.

Oh if I met Christian Bale... the things I wouldn't do... :o
