Having just been given a waterford stove i was wondering if anyone out there has successfully modified an old stove to run on wood pellets ?
I was thinking of butchering this small stove in the hope i could fit a hopper on to it.
    Any ideas out there?
    Dave

I dont know about that. Where you would be installing the hopper (on top) is exactly where your heat will want to go, potentially causing a fire hazard.

The ones i have seen have a hopper and a small worm screw on the side .The screw empties into a small basket inside. maybe at a 30Deg angle so the pellets drop into it.
