Please send me an mp3 of a two-piece band backed by a drum machine that doesn't sound sh!t. You just cannot beat the live sound. Stop being so greedy.

ok. and can you please stop being an over opinionated twit!
ive seen some of your other posts and yes i think you are a bit of an OOT..

while were here - you say "stop being so greedy" - i presume thats directed at the people who pay these bands yes??? and the whole bar/agents/total rip-off system that only ireland could get itself into then yes??? and then again it goes deeper than that. the pay for gigs here is similar to other coutries actually. its juts you cant actually buy jaksh*t with tha money here cos everything else is so dear too!! so i guess you really are opening a pandoras box with that one... its a greedy culture this one, a greedy economy.. i'll give you that.

unfortunately good drummers deserve more than you can pay them on gigs like this...

oh yes thats right. why dont we all just do it for the love of music and forget about the money. oh ok then i'll do that so.. (you OOT!!)

but yes youre right. good backing tracks are not easy to come by. its a bit of an art, takes some good equipment, a good ear, production skills and a bit of taste.. mine are pretty good actually ;)

i'll let you know when the first one is ok??

    there. i enjoyed that!

    D

P.S. read the original post. it says there will be stuff without bcktracks too. ie just two acoustic guitars. as it tunrs out about half the set... so whats the drummer gonna do there - play with himself??? ... OOT!!!

jesus i don't think i'll be looking for any musicians for a covers bans here.
Originals maybe. Get your head bitten off.
Life is much easier with a japanese drummer!
Might not be the same quality output but you have a better chance of work and thats what pays the bills.
If you're playing with a drummer you're going to need bass / keys so now you're talking about a 3/4 piece.
So it might come across as greedy but for a lot of lads music is their sole income.
P.s IMO if a drummer is good enough he will always get work cause their ain't too many good ones out there.
